Are you aged between 18 and 35 and want to increase your environmental skills? Do you want to volunteer or work in the environmental sector? Do you just love native animals and want to know how you can better support them?

Mornington Peninsula Intrepid Landcare presents “Managing Fauna Habitats” with local wildlife expert Mal Legg.

Come along and hear Mal speak about managing habitat for wildlife, camera monitoring, nest box ethics and more.

When: Saturday 9th September, 10am – 12pm

Where: 323 Myers Road, Merricks North

Cost: $5

Registrations essential: Managing Fauna Habitats Tickets, Sat 09/09/2023 at 10:00 am | Eventbrite

(Please note that this nominal amount has been set as we have had quite a few people register for past events and then pull out last minute)

What to Bring: A curious mind and any questions, plus wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy closed toe footwear, jacket, hat, water bottle and snacks.

Optional extra: Bring your lunch and gardening gloves and stay on to plant habitat for wildlife.

This session is provided as part of the Mornington Peninsula Intrepid Landcare Next Generation Project, a practical course working alongside experts in the field and supported through the state government through Victorian Landcare Grant funding.
