Koala Food Tree Planting Day – The Briars Mount Martha

2 August @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Free

Spend the morning with Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation Landcare, planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat in the The Briars, a beautiful conservation park in Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula.

Habitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together!

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife, including koalas, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

🧤 Bring your own hat, gardening gloves, water, and snacks. We’ll supply all necessary tools.

📍 The planting will take place at The Briars – 450 Nepean Highway, Mount Martha.

🚗 Drive in slowly and follow the A-frame signage along the road until you reach the restaurant carpark (titled Josephines and number 7 on map) where staff will meet you and take you through to the registration area.

We can’t wait to see you there! 🌱🐨
