BERG Field officer Liz Barraclough and President Eric Smalley will be present and will give us an understanding about the ecological challenges facing the Balcombe Estuary habitat.

From there we will be assisting the BERG members with weed control of some exotic garden plants such as infestations of English Ivy, Bridal Creeper and Arum Lily.

It should be an interesting morning for learning, working, and meeting with the BERG members.

Starts at 9.30 am, talk/walk/work, morning tea about 11 am and finish by 12.00pm.

Wear sturdy shoes/boots, gloves, and a hat. Tools will be provided.

Please note: The exact location to meet at the Estuary has not yet been decided.  A follow up email will be sent once BERG decides approximately week before the event.
