Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network

The Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network (MPLN) is a volunteer‑run organisation with ACNC charitable status, established in 2014 to support Mornington Peninsula Landcare groups in tackling land management challenges and delivering collaborative and effective environmental projects.

Covering the Mornington Peninsula Shire, MPLN supports ten catchment-based Landcare groups and five special interest groups, representing more than 870 member families.

Together, we work with private and public landholders and local communities, to protect and enhance the rich biodiversity, threatened species, diverse ecosystems, and extensive waterways of our unique Mornington Peninsula natural environment.

The Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network is proud to have received the Landcare and Environmental Volunteer Network Award at the 2024 Victorian Landcare Award ceremony.

Our Mission

To protect and enhance the unique Mornington Peninsula natural environment by supporting biodiversity, native wildlife, catchment health and climate change mitigation.
