Koala Food Tree Planting Day – Flinders

11 July @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Free

Help us improve koala habitat in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula town of Flinders

Spend the morning with us planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat in the stunning town of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula.

Habitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together!

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife, including koalas, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

☕ We’ll take a break for morning tea, with coffee, tea, Milo, and biscuits provided.
👖 Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably waterproof) as we’ll be walking through bushland and grassy areas.
🧤 Bring your own hat, gardening gloves, water, and snacks. We’ll supply all necessary tools.

📍 The planting will take place on private property at 289 Meakins Road, Flinders. Look for our big teardrop flag near the entrance.
🚗 Drive in slowly and follow parking instructions upon arrival.
