Join us for a community picnic at Arthurs Seat — a peaceful, positive gathering to celebrate and protect this much-loved place.

We haven’t had many updates on the Arthurs Seat Eagle expansion, but here’s what we do know:

• The Department of Transport and Planning has received a response from Arthurs Seat Eagle to its Request for Further Information, but has not yet decided whether the response is satisfactory. This assessment is expected to be completed within the next week.

If the Department confirms that all required information has been provided, the Minister for Planning will then begin the process of directing the applicant to give public notice of the proposal.

• 🛞 A metal-caged bridge is planned along Arthurs Seat Road for the luge track, and
• 🏗️ The tower has shot up — now proposed to be 34 metres high!

Bring your picnic, friends, kids and questions.

There’ll be BBQs, speakers, music, maps, plans and plenty of local spirit.

Let’s show the Minister, Parks Victoria, and the world that we don’t need thrill rides to love Wonga (Arthurs Seat) — we just need to keep it natural, shared and cared for.
