You are warmly invited to attend the Caring for Koala Country Event at the Briars on Saturday, 18 March 2023, 10am to 1pm.

Join us at 10 am for a Welcome to Country with the Bunurong Land Council, followed by a talk from Deakin Uni researchers about their study into the Peninsula’s koalas.

Sign up for other activities on the day including:

1. Learn how to grow koala trees with the Shire Nursery
2. Guided walks with Briars rangers
3. Kids arts and craft sessions

You can browse the stalls and talk to local volunteers about how you can care for koala country, including the Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network and Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation group and bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful koala country at The Briars.
