DESCRIPTION:We will be undertaking some activities on an old Gold-diggings area of the Tubbarubba Creek Bushland Reserve in Tuerong\, adjoining the property of Balcombe and Moorooduc Landcare members Courtney and Ash Henry. \nThe address is 237 Old Moorooduc Road Tuerong. Park either side of the entrance gate where we will meet Courtney and Ash\, at 10 am \nI’m looking forward to hearing their thoughts on their inspiring 35acre property including its’ natural features\, landscaping plans and challenges such as weed control \nWe’ll then walk down to check out the Tubbarubba Creek Bushland Reserve and see what activities we can undertake including tree planting\, weed removal and some rock shifting work. \nThe Reserve is controlled by Parks Victoria and used to be an old gold mining area with signs of diggings and gold processing works still evident. \nA BBQ lunch will be ready by 12.30 \nPlease bring sturdy footwear\, appropriate weather gear\, and work gloves.
