DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce the start of our 2025 tree planting season\, kicking off on Saturday\, 3rd May—perfectly timed with Wild Koala Day! What better way to mark the occasion than by joining us to plant hundreds of koala food trees\, indigenous shrubs and grasses on a beautiful property in Shoreham. \nThis year\, we’re aiming to plant over 25\,000 plants again\, and we can’t do it without the incredible support of volunteers like you.  You can find all the details for our planting events from May through to July by scanning the QR code on our flyer or by clicking HERE. SUMMARY:Arthurs Seat State Park Working Bee with Sheepwash Creek
DESCRIPTION:This will be our last landcare working bee before we break for the winter. \nUsually we aim for the second Sunday of the month but the following Sunday is Mother’s Day so we brought it forward. \nWe will be working in Holmes Road Reserve. We haven’t worked in this section of the State Park before\, however we had contractors working there a few years ago. \nThe Reserve is opposite John and Janet’s property and they have kindly offered for us to park our cars on their property and to have morning tea at their house. DESCRIPTION:18th May – Biolink property planting day. \nFor more details\, please contact: bmlgcommittee@gmail.com \n  \nIntent will be for site tour/working bee up until 1200\, and then a barbecue. \n  \nWe will be linking in with one of the properties that form part of BMLG biolink. We are finalising some details for the working bee but will likely be doing some planting as well as woody weeding. Prior planting and woody weeding we will meet with landowner and discuss works that have been undertaken as part of the biolink program and future endeavours. \nIt would be fantastic if you could make it along. If you do please bring sturdy footwear\, appropriate weather gear\, and work gloves. Tools and equipment will be provided. \nPlease let us know if you will be making it along as we may be having a barbecue and best to know numbers attending. Also please let us know and we will let you know the address of the property we will be working on.
