DESCRIPTION:With the holiday season upon us come on a hike through the Sheepwash Creek Catchment Landcare area\, walking through Arthurs Seat State Park and past the OT Dam. \nThe hike will take 2 and a half hours and you’ll need good walking/hiking shoes. Hiking poles are not essential but a good idea. SUMMARY:World Wetlands Day Celebration 2021
DESCRIPTION:World Wetlands Day is fast approaching\, and will be celebrated once again at Boneo Park\, 312 Boneo Road\, Boneo on Sunday 31st January 2021. \nThe theme for this year is ‘Wetlands and Water’ and the event marks the 50th anniversary of the Ramsar treaty and 40th anniversary of Western Port being declared a Ramsar site. \nThe Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network will be in attendance with a dedicated Landcare marquee and display\, and of course it wouldn’t be World Wetlands Day without a famous Landcare Puppet show. \nThis is a free event\, all wecome! Due to Covid requirements\, registration will be required for entry. \nPlease see Event Flyer for full itinerary. \n
