DESCRIPTION:Our next B&M Landcare Activity is a farm visit and working bee on Sunday morning 20th November 10 am to 1.30pm. \nWe will be guests on a beautiful 120-acre property in the hills just South of the Briars at 105 Range Rd\, Mt Martha. \nThe owners\, Barry and Lynne Fitzpatrick\, are keen to restore parts of the original natural environment there. DESCRIPTION:Landcare\, with support from Mornington Peninsula Shire\, DELWP\, and private donations\, is working with the Grow Corp Foundation to develop a demonstration “Whole of Farm” approach to revegetation on private property. This approach integrates shelterbelts\, riparian corridors\, and selective bush patches in a manner that: enhances the environment through improved biodiversity\, protects water quality\, and contributes to the major biolink between Greens Bush and Arthurs Seat.
