DESCRIPTION:FOR YOUNG ADULTS AGED 18–35\n\n\n\nWhat species can we find hiding in one of Western Port’s incredible wetlands? \n\n\n\nJoin Mornington Peninsula Intrepid Landcare on Sunday 13th September for a biodiversity adventure through Warringine Park\, exploring the Bittern Coastal Wetlands Boardwalk as part of the 2026 Biodiversity Blitz on iNaturalist!\n\n\n\nWe’ll be wandering\, wildlife spotting and learning how to use iNaturalist to identify and record the plants\, birds\, insects\, fungi and other wildlife we find. \n\n\n\nNever used iNaturalist? No worries! We’ll show you how it works – you just need to bring your curiosity. \n\n\n\nAnd we’re making a day of it! \n\n\n\nAfter the walk\, we’ll head into Hastings for lunch at a local café/pub to compare our sightings\, share our favourite finds and hang out with some fellow young nature lovers. \n\n\n\nWe’ll be exploring part of the UNESCO-recognised Western Port Biosphere Reserve – so come discover some of the incredible biodiversity right here in our own backyard. \n\n\n\n Warringine Park — meet at Salmon Street\, Hastings\n Sunday 13th September
