DESCRIPTION:B & M Landcare Activity for 2023 is planned for 21 Range Rd\, Mt Martha on Sunday morning 28th May at 9 am to 1 pm. \nMorning tea will be provided and also a lunchtime BBQ\,  if you can stay on for a bit longer. \nIf 9 am on a Sunday morning is a bit early come when suits you and we’ll get you underway. \nWe will be helping the Mornington Peninsula koala conservation Group plant a koala forest on this interesting farm. We will hear from M Peninsula Koala Conservation Group Project Co-ordinator Michelle Hardie explain what the Group are trying to achieve for our koalas across the Peninsula\, their habits and food requirements. \nPlease bring sturdy boots\, work gloves and a raincoat for planting tube-stock koala-friendly plants. Tools and equipment will be provided on the day \nI hope you can make it along and enjoy meeting others\, and especially in welcoming our new members.

Given we are all confined to our homes these days we have decided to run a Community Information Session via Zoom – just in time for ‘Wild Koala Day’ on Sunday\, 3 May 2020 @ 2pm. \nJoin us and learn what you can do to help our local koalas. This is a Zoom meeting for Mornington Peninsula residents and everyone else interested in koala and nature conservation. \nDr Desley Whisson and Dirk Jansen (President of MP Koala Conservation) will share what we know about koalas on the Mornington Peninsula followed by an online Q&A.
