DESCRIPTION:Sunday 27th July is NATIONAL TREE DAY and we’d love you to spend the morning with us planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat in the beautiful town of Tuerong on the Mornington Peninsula. \nHabitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together! \nThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife\, including koalas\, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION:\n☕ We’ll take a break for morning tea\, with coffee\, tea\, Milo\, and biscuits provided.\n👖 Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably waterproof) as we’ll be walking through bushland and grassy areas.\n🧤 Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water\, and snacks.
