DESCRIPTION:Help MP Intrepid and MP Koala improve koala habitat in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula town of Flinders. \n\n\n\nSpend the morning with us planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat in the stunning town of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula. \nHabitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together! \nThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife\, including koalas\, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION:\n🌿 Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony: We’ll begin the day with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. \n☕ Food & Coffee: A food and coffee van will be onsite throughout the event\, so you can grab something delicious to eat and keep yourself caffeinated. \n👖 Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably waterproof) as we’ll be walking through bushland and grassy areas. \n🧤 Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water\, and snacks. We’ll supply all necessary tools. \nStay after the planting for a fun Kokedama workshop! We’ll be creating beautiful Kokedama using native plants\, and everyone who joins in will take home their own little piece of bushland to display and enjoy.
