DESCRIPTION:Help us improve koala habitat in the beautiful coastal town of Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula \n\n\n\n\nJoin Merricks Coolart Landcare and Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation and spend the morning with us planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat at Saltbush in Balnarring. \nHabitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together! \nThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife\, including koalas\, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION:\nBookings essential. To register for your free ticket go to:\nKoala Food Tree Planting Day – Saltbush Balnarring Tickets\, Saturday 15 August  •  9 AM – 12:30 PM | Eventbrite \n☕ We’ll take a break for morning tea\, with coffee\, tea\, Milo\, and biscuits provided.\n👖 Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably waterproof) as we’ll be walking through bushland and grassy areas.\n🧤 Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water\, and snacks.
