DESCRIPTION:Help us improve koala habitat in the beautiful Mornington Green gardens in Somerville \n\n\n\n\nProudly supported by Wild Adventures Melbourne (WAM)\nSpend the morning with us planting hundreds of koala food trees and other native trees and shrubs to expand koala habitat on the grounds of Mornington Green in Somerville. \nHabitat loss is the leading threat to koalas and other wildlife—so let’s take action together! \nThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment and wildlife\, including koalas\, while making a real difference in restoring their habitat. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION:\nRegistrations essential. To book your free ticket go to:\nKoala Food Tree Planting Day at Mornington Green – Somerville Tickets\, Saturday 12 September  •  9 AM – 12:30 PM | Eventbrite \n☕ We’ll take a break for morning tea\, with coffee\, tea\, Milo\, and biscuits provided.\n👖 Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably waterproof) as we’ll be walking through bushland and grassy areas.\n🧤 Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water\, and snacks.
