SUMMARY:Devilbend Biolink Restoration - Moorooduc Saddle Club
DESCRIPTION:Join the Moorooduc Saddle Club in the “top land” to tackle plant dieback within the Devilbend Biolink\, a critical corridor linking remnant bushland and to the Devilbend Natural Features Reserve. \nCome help us to remove environmental weeds that compete for precious water resources with the existing climate stressed indigenous canopy layer. \nLed by bushland restoration specialists\, Seeds Bushland Restoration\, Moorooduc Saddle Club members will gain skills in plant identification and weed control techniques. Please note: NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. \nThis knowledge will empower the Moorooduc Saddle Club volunteers to maintain and expand restoration efforts well beyond the life of the grant. \nBy removing weeds in the Devilbend Biolink\, we are not only protecting individual trees but also safeguarding wildlife corridors that allow species to move and adapt in response to climate change. \nThe MPLN is proud to lead this initiative in partnership with community groups\, MP Equine Landcare and Sheepwash Creek Catchment Landcare members. Together\, we are demonstrating that collaboration is key to building resilient landscapes. \nRSVP: email gaylekelly@bigpond.com or register at Devilbend Biolink Restoration – Moorooduc Saddle Club Tickets\, Thursday\, May 14  •  10 AM – 12 PM | Eventbrite \nWhat to bring: Water bottle\, snacks and gardening gloves. All other tools will be supplied. \nWear: Long sleeves and collared shirt\, long pants and sturdy footwear. Please dress for the conditions. \nParking: In the “Top Land” paddock.
