SUMMARY:Cultural Heritage Induction Field Day with Bunurong Land Council
DESCRIPTION:—REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED— \nJoin us for a Cultural Heritage Induction field day in Shoreham\, led by Bunurong Land Council\, who will guide the Landcare community to recognise Cultural Heritage objects when undertaking weed or pest animal control along the coast or in bushland settings. \nParticipants will learn about the objects’ Cultural significance to Traditional Owners and find out how to protect them. \nDress for the conditions\, including closed-toe sturdy footwear and BYO sunscreen. \nLight refreshments from Indigenous organisation ‘Djambana Catering’ will be served at the end of the induction. \nThe Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network acknowledges the Bunurong people\, who have been the custodians of this land for many thousands of years; and pays respect to their Elders past and present.
