DESCRIPTION:Dear MPKC Members \nIt’s time for our next Annual General Meeting (AGM) and for elections/nominations of committee members. \nOur Committee is responsible for providing leadership and developing our strategy\, as well as planning and delivering the calendar of activities\, in particular our large tree planting program across autumn to spring.  Please see details below. \n  \n\n\n\nDate: \nThursday 15th August 2024\n\n\nTime: \n6pm – 8.30pm\n\n\nVenue:\nNanospace @ Saltbush\, 122 Balnarring Beach Road\, Balnarring\n\n\nCatering:\nLight refreshments will be provided\n\n\nRSVP: \nFor catering purposes\, please advise your attendance no later than 5/8/24\n\n\n\n  \nGuest Speaker – Nigel Williamson\, Founder of Nigel’s Animal Rescue\nNigel has been rescuing Animals for the past 23 years. His career started off at the RSPCA as an Ambulance driver and after 12 months a position was created for him as a Animal rescue officer within the inspectors office. When his position was made redundant after 5 years\, Nigel decided to start his own animal rescue business. Nigel’s Animal Rescue began in 1989 and he has performed over 30\,000 rescues since 1985. \nPlease see attached the following documents: \n\nAGM Agenda\nMinutes from previous AGM – 14.9.23\nNomination Form\n\nYou can nominate yourself or a fellow group member for any of the positions listed on the attached nomination form. If you would like additional information on any of the positions\, please email us at mpkoalatreeplanting@outlook.com \nIf you wish to nominate yourself for multiple positions\, please include the order of preference eg. preference 1\, 2 or 3 on the nomination form \nPlease complete one form per nomination and return the form(s) via email mpkoalatreeplanting@outlook.com by 5/8/2024. \nIf we receive multiple nominations for the same position\, we will vote on the day by private ballot. \nOnce the new committee is finalised\, we will run a strategy session to refresh our strategic plan and goals.
