SUMMARY:National Tree Day - MP Koala Tree Planting - Hastings
DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY 28TH JULY is NATIONAL TREE DAY and we’d love you to come and spend the morning with us to plant 100s of koala food trees and other local trees and shrubs to increase koala habitat in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula town of Hastings. \nHabitat loss is the main reason for the decline of koalas and all our wildlife in general\, so let’s do something about it! \nThis is a great opportunity to learn about our environment and local wildlife\, including koalas\, while helping us to increase available habitat. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: \n\nWe will have a break for morning tea and will provide coffee\, tea\, milo and biscuits.\n\n\nPlease wear long pants and closed shoes (preferably waterproof) as we will be walking through bush and or grassy areas.\n\n\nBring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water and snacks.
